I redid my Webform to use the Mailchimp tags: fname, lname, address, phone, email. This is hard to do by the way because the webform builder only uses the correct machine name if you put it into the title field, save the form, and then return to edit the field with a user-friendly name.
But, the Mailchimp subscription only gets the email address.
I am running Drupal 8.5.6 on linux.

I think the issue is the Merge vars Mailchimp settings. I have no clue about the format of this field.
Your help needs to be more specific.
I tried
lname: lname
mergevar: lname
lname: 'lname'
Mergevar: 'lname'
margevar: 'lname' (is margevar correct in the help popup?)

What am I doing wrong?
