I still have all of today, so I hope to get an alpha done. Unfortunately work has to come first.

Also, will the Zend version be updated too?

Just an update on this....

Yes the Zend Version will be updated. I also failed to meet my pledge because there is an indexing bug that has popped up with one of the latest RC versions of 7. As soon as that is fixed there will be a release. Specifically, it seems that the indexing is called multiple times per cron run, so there is some funky things going on with the index.

I failed. Therefore I am going straight to the 3.x version of the module to get a release out more quickly.

Just an update on this, I have to present the 3.x API to Acquia on Friday, so I am hopeful to get a release out around that time.
