Because I love it and need it. And I added some features, like captions.
So now it should be tested by the community, I guess, since after all "it works for me" just means it's beta.
What is the protocol? Pobster? Anyone?

pobster commentedFortunately I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment as my PC is fried after a power surge and I've still not decided what I'm going to buy as a replacement (hence as I'm self employed that means I'm not working at the moment). Anyways... You can attach files in issue queues so I can review it right now if you like? Stick everything in a zip file (or a tar archive) first as Drupal can be pretty restrictive about what you can attach.
I had intended on rewriting Logotool once I had some time (been looking at other projects today, but Logotool was one thing I thought about overhauling later on) - so is this a straight upgrade? If so, were you aware that I've already got a straight upgrade available in another of the issue queues? The only reason I didn't make it as a full release is because it doesn't allow for multi-lingual sites (does yours?)
Anyways, enough blah! Post it here!

shunting commentedHi:
I didn't see the upgrade in the issue queue -- I thought there was only an official path to release; let me look for it. I didn't write a straight upgrade in the sense that I didn't only FAPI-ize the D5 version; I added tabs for administrative functionality that I wanted, like being able to resize the images*, and also added a way to add captions that rotate with the logo. "It works at home!" And, of course, when I really couldn't understand something... I rewrote it. So you might want to rip all that stuff out :-o I didn't touch the locale/language functions because I didn't get what they were, but so far as I can tell, I didn't get in their way, either. One reason it needs review!
* My logos are full size banners, so their widths really threw the delete table off.
