Can Listhandler be made compatible with Nodecomments?

Not to hijack the thread, but here I go anyway.

Nodeforum shouldn't be a problem except that it requires Nodecomments. So the answer is "no."

However, I'm willing to put some work into making Nodecomments work with Listhandler, if that is possible. I'm not sure yet what needs to happen but if we can get Listhandler working with Nodecomments there's a fighting chance it will work with Nodeforum.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

@smscotten, it would be groovy if you could start working on this issue. It would be a good path to assign it to yourself and provide a patch in a reasonable timeframe. If you feel you cannot allocate resources, also fine, but then plz. close the defect.
