When I create a content type and create new content and use linkit, it all works fine.
But when I use that content type as a Simplenews, newsletter the linkit module breaks.
I get the popup, and the fields and all, it looks differen, and no error messages are given, but the buttons wont work, en the autocomplete field doesnt work either.

I get no error messages in the console, but as soon as I set the option 'use as simplenews newsletter' off linkit works again.

Still investigating this issue, when i created a diff between the HTML output with Simplenews enabled and disabled, i noticed the only change was the token module implementing some javascript and css. When I disabled the token module, linkit works again.

If I enable tokens again en go to simplenews.module and disable the following code:
The linkit module works again.

function _simplenews_node_form(&$form, &$form_state) {
//....
  if (module_exists('token')) {
    $form['simplenews_token_help'] = array(
      '#title' => t('Replacement patterns'),
      '#type' => 'fieldset',
      '#collapsible' => TRUE,
      '#collapsed' => TRUE,
      '#description' => t('These tokens can be used in all text fields except subject and will be replaced on-screen and in the email.'),
    );

    $form['simplenews_token_help']['browser'] = array(
      '#theme' => 'token_tree',
      '#token_types' => array('simplenews-category', 'simplenews-subscriber', 'node'),
    );
  }
}

I would like to use the token module as well so help is still appreciated.
