Installed Colorbox 1.1 and jquery_update 6.x-2.0-alpha1.
Autocompletion does not work anymore. There is no work around e.g. older or dev versions of Colorbox or LinkIt.

inetcom commentedWith workaround I meant: Installation of an older or development (newer) release of either Colorbox or LinkIt would not solve the problem (for some time until it is fixed).
(Should have written: There is no work around e.g. by installing older or dev versions of Colorbox or LinkIt. Sorry.)
If you like to reproduce the issue (quickly):
* Install jquery update, Colorbox and LinkIt (you do not need to configure them) with ckeditor
* Use LinkIt and try to browse the server, it will not work (imce won't pop up)
* Uninstall ColorBox (you can just unmark it)
* Use LinkIt again, now you can browse ther server (imce will pop up)

anonIsnt this an IMCE bug then?
inetcom commentedI can not tell you if this is an imce bug. I think it is not since autocompletion does not function too. I rather guess it is a jquery issue.
Btw: The "attributes" menu is also not working. So it is autocompletion, browsing and attributes which do not function if Colorbox is enabled. All three use jquery (as does Colorbox).
Priority of the report is set to normal, I think it is major. Colorbox is one of the only choices left today.

anonI cant reprodice this on a clean install.
If you still see this issue, please some javascript console and post the error.
inetcom commentedI have the issue with several different sites. Of course there are more modules than just LinkIt or Colorbox in use. So I'm going to set up a test site with just the three modules mentioned and continue to install the others I work with. (At the moment my time is very limited to really dig deeper.) I will post my results here.
Thank you for your efforts so far and for LinkIt in general, I really like it.

anonAny progress on your test site?
inetcom commentedI am not yet finished with testing. So far I can say that you are correct. A bare bone installation is not showing the issue. I am installing module after module I use and so far everything is o.k. It takes quite some time.
I wonder what might the cause for it because it is showing up on many of my sites. A first vague idea is that it has to do with upgrading (not just LinkIt). Some sites are several years old.
I'll let you know about the progress. I am very interested in a solution.
