I look for posting content from Drupal to a specific linkedin group.
Is it possible, how?

Thanks

Any luck or progress on this? I also need this feature for an upcoming site.

As far as I know, posting to a group isn't supported right now.

Take a look at this: https://developer.linkedin.com/blog/sharing-content-your-group-discussio..., full API example here: https://developer.linkedin.com/documents/groups-api#post

It appears that you can post to:
http://api.linkedin.com/v1/groups/{group-id}/posts

with

<post>

New Group Discussion

What does everyone think about platform development?

    <submitted-url>http://developer.linkedin.com</submitted-url>

Build the Professional Web with LinkedIn

A great resource for finding documentation and answers related to developing on the LinkedIn Platform

</post>

I haven not tried it yet.

As a clarification, I meant as far as I know, posting to a group isn't supported by the module. Definitely something that could/should be added though.

One of my clients needs this feature. I'm looking into to adding it to http://drupal.org/project/linkedin_group_posts, but that module adds more functionality. I may add something a lot simpler to separate module (not sure). All I needs it to do is post an update on node creation to an admin set group, it should be very simple. Ofcourse the possibilities to add more features are there (like allow users to post to groups they authorize, but I will not be needing this right now.)

I need the trifecta: Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Facebook Post and Twitter Post work fine separately but currently don't work together as of this post. We just need a LinkedIn Post module that does the same, but works without conflict with the other two (fb_post, twitter).

Maybe try this, checking it out now:

http://www.ostraining.com/blog/drupal/drupal-social-networks/

  1. Create a View with an RSS feed.
  2. Set that feed up at twitterfeed.com.
  3. Twitterfeed.com then posts the updates to various social sites.

I believe this FAQ post of theirs is inaccurate, but at the moment it appears twitterfeed doesn't support posting to groups or company pages. I'm sure it does fine posting to an individual linkedin page though.

I also believe the LinkedIn Group API does support posting to group or company pages now, and a wordpress (cough) plugin that appears to work is called SNAP. I definitely am looking for that functionality, subscribing.

Edit: I found this can be achieved with hootsuite.com free account. Use in same way as recommended with twitterfeed.com but supports posting to groups and company pages.
