when enabling the linkedin link on the login block the CSS class is not correctly added to the li tag.

I traced it to the linkedin_auth.theme.inc under sites/all/modules/linkedin/linkedin_auth

the $items array had the following:

  $items[] = array(
    'data' => $data,
    'attributes' => array(
      'class' => $class,
    ),
  );

I changed it to:

  $items[] = array(
    'data' => $data,
    'class' => array(
      'class' => $class,
    ),
  );

which makes the theme correctly generate the CSS classes.

Can you confirm this is OK?

i finally settled on the following which also adds a CSS id.

  $id = $class;
  $items[] = array(
  'data' => $data,
  'class' => array('class' => $class),
  'id' => array('id' => $id),

anyone know the correct way to get this to work using the attributes array?

Hi, I think this is the right way; otherwise you can add the class attribute to the link.
