I have installed LDAP module 8.x.3 beta5 on Drupal 8. I have a working install of ldap on D7 on the same server.

When configuring on D8, I cannot save changes to LDAP / User Mappings. In particular, I check the box for my LDAP server under LDAP Servers Providing Provisioning Data and enable options to sync accounts on creation and update. After clicking 'Save' the screen shows these options enabled, but they are not. This is revealed by refreshing the page.

It appears no changes under LDAP / User Mappings are saved at all.

This is a fresh install of Drupal 8, I believe this is a bug.

Just tested with beta5 on a clean install of 8.6.2, I cannot reproduce your problem. Are you certain that you are not running into validation errors in the form (e.g. you have orphaned account information set but not PUID defined)?

Hello and thank you for the response. I was finally able to save settings after clicking "Do not check for orphaned Drupal accounts". I'm running a fresh install of Drupal from Opigno LMS, so maybe something about that project contributed to the issue.

I'll close this issue. Thanks again for the response.

However I still can't login with LDAP accounts. I haven't had time to thoroughly troubleshoot but I believe everything is configured the same as with Drupal 7 on the same server. While I have your attention, I wonder if there are any 'gotchas' I should be aware of when switching from D7 to D8?
