I'm trying to provision firstname and lastname from my LDAP server.

I've added 2 text fields in /admin/config/people/accounts/fields, 255 length, single entry. They are called 'field_ldap_firstname' and 'field_ldap_lastname'.

Then I've gone back to /admin/config/people/ldap/user, and if I look under 'Provisioning from LDAP to Drupal Mappings', my new fields are not listed in the 'Target Drupal attribute' dropdowns.

Am I missing something for those two fields? Is there additional config required to make those fields available for mapping from LDAP?

Thanks!

That should work, have you cleared the cache? Do you see any other fields on the user? These are regular fields not profile fields, right?

Clearing the cache worked. I should have thought of that... thanks.

Well the fields should not be outdated, we are probably caching something wrong. Updating issue to reflect this.

Was not able to reproduce this, probably fixed along the way with dependency injection.
