Whenever I try to use an LDAP View w/ global combine filter, I get the following error output in Views UI:

An AJAX HTTP error occurred.
HTTP Result Code: 200
Debugging information follows.
Path: /projects/foobar/admin/structure/views/view/foobarview/preview/page/ajax
StatusText: OK
ResponseText:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method ldap_views_plugin_query_ldap::placeholder() in C:\www\projects\foobar\sites\all\modules\views\includes\handlers.inc on line 604

(I'm trying to use global combine to be able to search off multiple fields.)

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?

Feedback about this would be appreciated.

Hi

I can confirm this problem, it's based on the assumptions Views makes in terms of the query backend. This will not be possible without significant refactoring to support the required methods.

If this is still relevant for you I'd recommend writing a custom filter to perform your actions directly on the result set or querying the LDAP Query directly without Views.
