Any blockers to an alpha release, or even a stable release of the 7.x branch?

I've been testing it out this evening and it seems to be working as I'd expect. I'll be including it in the upcoming book that @zzolo and I are writing for O'Reilly on Mapping with Drupal.

I can't wait to check out the book.

No known release blockers. I've just tagged a 7.x-1.x-alpha1 release.

I'm open to making stable releases for both the D7 and D6 versions. 6.x-2.0-alpha1 has been rolling fine for over a year now and is running on over 600 sites.

I'll plan to do a code & issues review for both versions with the hope of marking both as stable. Is there a deadline for reporting this in the book?
