Kiseki Admin Experience
Kiseki Admin Experience is a Drupal 10/11 module that improves the editorial and admin-side UX for Kiseki projects. It makes SDC previews and backoffice rendering more consistent with front-end behavior, especially when used with Kiseki Theme and the Kiseki Theme Setup recipe.
What this module provides
- Backoffice loading of Kiseki CSS variables so component previews keep expected colors and tokens.
- Styleguide UX enhancements for SDC forms and component preview workflows.
- Integrated media picker flow for SDC props annotated with
ui_type: media. - Slot include editor support for include-based slot templates.
- Layout Paragraphs preview alignment improvements in admin forms and paragraph preprocess output.
- Environment indicator and admin-focused helper libraries.
Requirements
- Drupal 10 or Drupal 11
- Media Library
- Layout Paragraphs
- SDC Styleguide
Quality and maintenance
- Includes unit tests for module helper logic and form alter behavior.
- Includes a functional smoke test to verify module enablement and page load baseline.
- Provides a post-update hook to materialize paragraph icon file entities for predictable admin UX after config import.
Typical use case
Enable this module in projects using Kiseki Theme, SDC Styleguide, and Layout Paragraphs to improve editor productivity and reduce mismatch between component preview and production rendering. It is especially useful when paired with the Kiseki Theme Setup recipe for a more complete Kiseki site setup.
