All the functions of this module should have their name prefixed by keys_api_. There are many functions whose name starts just with keys_; this could cause a conflict with (a hypothetic, for the moment) keys.module.

Yes, I plan on replacing the keys_api module with keys. Which I should probably do prior to the 6 release.
