Tabs Display in IE 6 and 7

The tabs are a great addition to CCK. No problems with how they display in Firefox, Safari for Windows and Opera, however not so for other browsers.
IE7 The tabs themselves are where they should be on the left side but below the 1 pixel top border (they are above this border in Firefox, Safari and Opera). I think this positioning is what is causing the content of the tab to be positioned correctly vertically but to the right of the last tab. I have 4 tabs so all the content is on the right half of the page.
IE6 is the worst, of course. the content of the tabs is positioned on the right side of the pages, as it is in IE7. The tabs themselves are on the left but not at the top, they are about midway down.
Konqueror does not display the tabs at all.
