Dos not seem to work at all

I wish to run a script from http://www.hislider.com/
It has a Drupal publishing, but it is useless, as it uses Jquery 1.10.2 without any care.
It works if I let the module loading this jquery version, but this breaks everything else.

I followed the instructions, and the module correctly detects the alternate Jquery version.
I first used the (D) method by modifying all js files accordingly - ending by })(jq1102) - but this did absolutely nothing
I then used the (A) method, puting all the files in a directory in /library and modifying the js files - ending by })(jquery). The module properly detected the js files, but again the correct jquery version was not loaded.

In both cases, no functions are called at run time, the module does not change anything. The only jquery loaded is the one from Jquery update.

There are 4 other js files, several css and images in the library that are loaded by the main jquery.hislider.js script.
