After correct settings of the Joomla to Drupal module I get this message: "The joomla database settings are not currently valid."
Perhaps these settings aren't correct, but after trying about all possible settings I am out of ideas.
I HAVE TO migrate a Joomla site to Drupal, please, any help would be great!

The reason was: database server is not actually localhost, but I "filled database host name" as localhost.

sorry, I don't understand you; what could be the name of the database host other than localhost??
I am trying all possible variations but can't get further...

I've got it solved; all the settings of Joomla had to get from the configuration.php of Joomla. And yes, the host name is localhost.
