Is there any way to add a numbers for each item in place of the arrows? I have each item taking up the full width of the container.

I can't seem to find a module that will do this.

You can do this by manually making your own navigation and styling the carousel yourself, but it's not possible in the Views integration. As a feature request, this is a duplicate of #825692: Pager or navigation for the carousel.
