I just installed the newer version of jcarousel2.0 at www.gamma-point.com. I am getting this warning message:

* warning: include_once(modules/jcarousel/jcarousel.views.inc) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home1/pdxfurni/public_html/gamma-point/includes/theme.inc on line 614.
* warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'modules/jcarousel/jcarousel.views.inc' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /home1/pdxfurni/public_html/gamma-point/includes/theme.inc on line 614.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Not Sure if this is the correct way to fix it. But I fixed it by modifying the theme.inc file at line 613. The modified code is:

// Include a file if the theme function or preprocess function is held elsewhere.
if (!empty($info['file'])) {
$include_file = $info['file'];
if ($include_file=="jcarousel.views.inc") //added by tjay
{
$include_file = 'includes/' . $include_file;
}
if (isset($info['path'])) {
$include_file = $info['path'] .'/'. $include_file;
}
include_once($include_file);
}

Ah, are you using Views 3 by chance? I had this problem when I made the Drupal 7 port. Apparently in Views 3 we need to manually specify a "theme path" in jcarousel_views_plugins(), but adding this in View 2 breaks the theming in Views 2. To fix this problem we could just put jcarousel.views.inc and jcarousel-view.tpl.php in the same directory.

No. I am using Views 2.

Another problem I am seeing is that it first adds 18 blank items to the slideshow and then the image appears as the 19th item!. I thought it could be the problem with new JCarousel2.0 module. I deactivated it and switched to Views Carousel. Here also I am seeing the same problem. Please check it here:

You probably need to filter your view so that it doesn't include the empty items in your view. I bet you probably get 18 empty items no matter what style of view you use.

What exact version of Views are you using? I'd like to double-check that the missing include problem doesn't exist in Views 2 also.

Thanks for the help. I added the filter for the image field. Now blank items are gone.

I am using v 1.26 2008/10/20.

I'm setting this to an active request, as the suggestion in #1 isn't going to be suitable for inclusion in the module. I think the most likely fix will be relocating the template to the same place as the jcarousel.views.php file.

Well I tried switching to Views 3 (latest dev version) and the latest Views 2 version. Neither had this problem that I could tell. Unless this can be reproduced from clean install, I don't think this needs any changes. If you've made modifications directly to Drupal core (as suggested by #1), there's no way that this will be reproducible.
