Can this module work with filefield_paths? I may try re-working it myself.. just curious as to why it only works on File attachments thus far.
I really would like this to work with Content Profile during user registration. It's really a content_profile module's issue, as file attachments do not get saved along with the node after you create an account, with or without this module. Files uploaded through filefield do, however, get saved and work as expected.

iva2k commentedFilefield support is a big feature to develop. I considered it, but have no bandwidth to dedicate to such a commitment.
If you are up to the task of doing it - I encourage you to. I will give full support of reviews and checkins/release.

iva2k commentedOur posts crossed.
There is no plan for 3.0 of iTweak Upload yet. If someone provides filefield patch, it can be the 3.0 branch.

mattcasey commentedOkay thanks, I may give it a go. I think it would be a nice feature.
For now, I found that file attachments do get saved and moved as I would expect, it's just they don't appear under the Node edit form after registration.

iva2k commentedI'm marking it "won't fix" for now. Please reopen with a patch or other relevant information. If developing iTwek Upload for FileField, I would recommend focusing on Drupal-7 (Upload module is deprecated in D7).
