Hi newbie here,
I just installed the iPaper module followed all instructions in documentation for setup, set all the necessary permissions. Then I created a iPaper node and uploaded a file. But the file does not load on our site where as it loads properly on scribd site. It just throws an error
"The previous attempt to convert this document to an iPaper failed. Click here to retry"
The log error is as follows
Scribd error #: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> 123456 key-djdsjdksjdklsajdkslajdd(some key here) some password
But then when I take the doc id ,secret password(from url when i view it via scribd site) and document access key(embed code on scribd site) and update the node i created, then it loads properly on our site.
Hopefully I was clear with my question. Let me know if you need more informtiom.
Thanks in advance

rares commentedthe file that you are able to see on Scribd -- was it uploaded through your own site or through Scribd directly?
can you try to change the upload method in the module configuration and see if that works?
also, have you tried a different file?

basvars commentedThe file was uploaded from our site. We did try and change the upload method with no luck. So now after we upoad, we need to go to scribd, get the doc id, secret key and access key and manually enter that into the ipaper node then it loads properly. For some reason, when we create a ipaper node the doc id is always zero, and secret key and access key are blank !!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated

ravisagar commentedI have created ipaper node in the past by entering the doc_id and access_key of the already uploaded documents on scribd. Today I am trying to create another ipaper but the doc_id and access_key become blank after saving the ipaper node. Also it says "Please upload a document to view it as an iPaper."

McNott commentedI have the same problem as #3 above. Though I do have one iPaper Scribd document working OK any others after I add all the parameters to iPaper fields including API and save (they become blank when you reopen to check and edit) and a message appears "Please upload a document to view it as an iPaper". It is odd that one works.
I can change the doc_id and access_key in the working paper and the new Scribd saved document appears in Drupal.
Please let me know if I need to add the API in another location but why is it asking to upload a document?

rares commentedif looks like this may genuinely be a bug.
if you delete the one that has the parameters which are saved correctly, can you recreate it?
