user message lost if incorrect email address specified

If the email address is set to something that won't pass the built in validation, e.g. an address like "foobar" (no domain), when you hit 'send invite' the form will be returned with the address highlighted in red, but the custom user-specified message will have been lost.

Expected behavior: incorrect field is in red, and user data in other fields is retained.
