Installed/enabled Invite.
Modified Invite by Mail settings:
- changed Subject
- added tokens to Mail template
- Manually override From e-mail address
- Manually override Reply-To e-mail address

Sent test invites- all used the default settings, not the updated settings.
Uninstalled/re-installed- same issue, although at least now the manually overridden e-mail addresses work.

jemisond created an issue. See original summary.

Upon further investigation, I see that if you select the "Editable subject " check box, then the customization appears. BUT, the entire Body field is also editable by the user (not just the Subject), who can easily remove the customization.

OK, finally got around this by editing the Body field directly at /admin/structure/invite-types/manage/invite_by_email/fields

But then, what is the point of having an editable template in the Invite by Email configuration...

@jemisond, I experienced the same behaviour and the modification in the Body field worked for me too.

It seems the value set in the "Invite by e-mail" admin interface is just used as default value for the e-mail form that users see when the "Editable subject" is checked and they want to send an invitation.
