Hi,
I tried using this syntax [[[http://example.com height=800px weight=400px allowtransparency=true ]]],
but the iframe shown as usual - without transparent. Did I miss something?

Can you have a look to html source page and look for iframe tag. Is allowtransparency set ? If yes, this is not a insertFrame bug.
What is your browser ?
For IE, you may add style="filter: chroma(color=#ffffff)" attribute, or set the body of frame transparent
