Hi, the module is awesome, but it would be great if also had an option to put a caption to the image, maybe the alt field that Drupal 7 allows you to put for every image that you upload?. That would definitely make things easier for the user who doesn't know too much html.

You can do this already by theming the insert-image.tpl.php (or imagecache-image-insert.tpl.php file) and moving the existing __title__ or __alt__ replacements into the caption location outside the image. This won't be added directly as a feature of this module because I don't want to be held responsible for the mangling of the inserted markup by various WYSIWYG editors.
