Module fails to declare 'administer inline messages' permission

This module requires administrators to have the 'administer inline messages' permission, but it does not declare it. I added the following:

function inline_messages_perm()
{
  return array('administer inline messages');
}

Perhaps should also mention that this permission needs to be enabled in the README.
