This seems like a very nice module, but got a problem - the error message seems to land all over the place on my pages.

For instance, I have pages where Fivestar voting module is enabled in comments and where there is also a fivestar summary tabulation widget in the middle of the page. If user makes error entering, say, website address, the error msg scrolls down to the fivestar summary widget in the middle of the page, not to the actual comment form where the error exists.

Other example. On my regular Drupal contact form, input error generates error msg that ends up inside the right sidebar block for the Drupal search_block_form (fyi, my version is slightly modified with a little jQuery script).

For comment input errors on pages without the fivestar stuff, the error msg ends up in the correct position just above the comment box, as expected. These pages also have the search block enabled.

Any ideas what problem is? how to fix?

Thank you.

Again, sorry for the delayed response...

I've only tested the module with pages that have one form that uses Inline Messages enabled. Just to make sure I'm clear... so in this case you've enabled either 'All module forms' or you've selected to use Inline Messages for the comments, fivestar and search modules?

Ah, that's probably it. Since my post, I had disabled the module, so I don't know exactly what the settings were, but probably I had enabled for 'all forms'.

I just re-enabled module with only certain forms enabled and now it looks to work correctly - messages float to comment form, which is really the form that most concerns me. I think earlier that I'd probably assumed the messages would flow to the thing that generated the error, but now I gather that it flows to the first enabled form on the page. I will fiddle around with it some more and see how it works out.

Thanks for getting back to me.
