I'm missing an option to remove the inlined attachment from the node #attachments table. See the screenshot.

You can just disable the checkbox to display the attachment.

Yes, that would work. But what I didn't explain properly before is that if any additional files are attached to the node and not used within inline tag, I would wan't them to appear in the attachments table. In other words, module would remove only inlined files from attachments table.

You can configure the default visibility for attachments in Upload module's settings.

The reason why Inline does nothing automatically here is that everyone wants a different behavior.
