Hello,
I have 2 questions please:
1. I have 7000 existing nodes, with an image attached to each of them. As I understand I would need to insert [inline...] into every existing node description for this to work, or is there a simpler way perhaps, such as enabling it for the node type?
I can easily attach the [inline...] text with SQL though so this is not a big issue.
2. I would like to place links around the files to custom destinations, and this seems a bit trickier. If I enable php filter as well I guess I could do it, but are there any other ideas?
Cheers,
G

sunYou could also enable the "auto-inline" feature on the content-type configuration form, which prepends or appends attachments automatically to the node body. Dunno if that helps.
No, there is no other automatic way for inserting inline tags. If using tags, the tags must already be there in the database - so when the input filter is invoked to render each individual node, the tags can be converted accordingly. (This happens in node_view(), FWIW.)
