My site is fairly vanilla and seems to be running fine otherwise, but inline is not functioning. Using BU editor, I have uploaded a JPG image and can see it in the upload window for BU Editor, and I can see it in my file system (files/u1 directory - BU Editor must have created that subdir).
Unable to get BU Editor to post images to the node I was creating, I went ahead and keyed in: [inline:myimage.jpg=test] to no avail. The code appears, but not the image. I even added a relative and then an absolute path to the image but still no worky. Then I went into input types and added
to my relevant input types just for the heck of it, but no change.

silurius commentedThe readme gives this as the proper syntax, but it also has no effect.

webmestre@coll-vallcarca.net commentedHi,
I tested it and I don't know if it could help you. I don't have any WYSWYG editor, but I installed the image module, ok?
When I uploaded an image throught the image upload, it didn't appeared. But, if I uploaded the image throught the usual file upload, I mean I attached an image, then the image and the link appeared. So test this option, to upload the image as a file attachment and then it would appear the list and you could see the inline image.
I hope this could be helpful to you

sunYes, Inline works only with images that are attached to a node using the (core) upload module. If you upload an image with your editor or another image module, Inline does not know of this image.
Just upload an image as a regular file attachment to a node. Then use [inline:1] or [inline:foo.jpg] to display this image inline in the node body.

silurius commentedIs anyone using a WYSIWYG along with Inline?
My users in this case are pretty much lost without one, and as far as using inline images goes, are also lost without Inline. It would be great to see the two modules (even if it's not BU Editor, although that's my favorite) work well together. If the answer's no, then please add this to your feature request list and I'll keep my eye on the module for this project.

silurius commentedPlease ignore my previous comment - I had not yet consumed sufficient amounts of caffeine to process some of the information I already had!
