Presumably related to todays server changes, cgit.drupalcode.org isn't work correctly.

Accessing a file to read the contents (http://cgit.drupalcode.org/custom_formatters/tree/custom_formatters.module) still shows the correctly numbered code viewer, but doesn't show any content.
