I'm using the same (free) taxonomy for both stories and images. This means that in the Image Assist selector, I see all used tags in the drop-down list, even if less than 10% of the tags are used on pics. Furthermore, the count doesn't dispaly the number of pictures but the total number of the occurances of the term. As a result of this, you can select terms with zero images, which is a bit annoying :)

I suppose both issues could be solved by only counting the relevant occurances of the term, but am not really sure where and how to change this?

Wrong version info - edited :). Also, I'm not really sure if this should be labelled as a bug. Technically, I suppose the count is correct, just misleading, so I'm playing it safe and tagging it as a feature request :)
