I am unable to get the image to display in a view... I can select the content type field and use the widget, but no image displays. Thanks.

I probably had a caching issue for the view not displaying images as I can get the default image to display now. However I am confused by the widget offering link and thumbnail options which show nothing when selected ... What I am trying to use in the view is a thumbnail that links to the preview or original image (preferably triggering lightbox). It seems with IMCE CCK image field you select an image... is there no automatic function that creates a thumbnail that can be used in the View as the widget suggests or am I missing something here?

Yes, it's true... I normally just manually create the thumbnail (thumbnail button on the imce popup window).

However, I'll get the imagecache patch #359098: Patch for Basic ImageCache Integration tested soon and hopefully can use imagecache later.
