Hi,
when trying to import 20 images à 60 kB, "Imagefield Import" dies with the following "Fatal error" at ./batch?op=start&id=56:
An error occurred. /batch?id=56&op=do { "status": true, "percentage": 20, "message": "Processed 4 out of 20.\x3cbr/\x3e\x26nbsp" }<br /> <b>Fatal error</b>: require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required './sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in <b>/var/www/drupal/sites/all/modules/views/views.module</b> on line <b>511</b><br />
The referenced view.inc exists, and Views 2 is installed and operational.
# ls -lah sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 59K 18. Nov 03:26 sites/all/modules/views/includes/view.inc
"Imagefield Import" imports about four images, then dies; when the import is being restarted, it imports another four images and dies again, etc. I tried this with several batches, and it happens again and again.
I know that "Imagefield Import" used to work very reliably, at least with such small amounts of images. However, I have no clue what this error message tries to indicate.
Any ideas?
Thanks & greetings, -asb

wulff commentedI haven't been able to reproduce this bug.
Which modules are enabled on your site?
asb commentedInstalled modules:
Inactive: Automatic Nodetitles, Custom Breadcrumbs, Imagecache Actions, Mass tag, Site verification, Tagging, Viewfield, Views Bonus Pack, Wikitools.
If needed, I can post release numbers of the active modules.
I'm running a similar setup on a different server under Lighttpd (installed about a year ago), this error occurs under Apache (installed a few weeks ago), both under Debian GNU/Linux "Lenny"; I personally suspect some undocumented dependency, not a module incompatibility (gut feeling).
Thanks & greetings,

wulff commentedOn closer inspection, the status message "Processed 4 out of 20.\x3cbr/\x3e\x26nbsp" doesn't match the message string in the latest version of the module (which would say "Imported 4 out of 20.").
Can you try installing the latest dev. version of the module and see if that makes any difference? (A new dev. version will be released automatically later today.)
Another possible reason is that you have some unwanted content (the "<br/> " mentioned in the error message) in one of your site's files. Have you made changes to any core or contrib files in your installation?

asb commentedUpgraded to 6.x-1.x-dev and so far no problems!
Thank you!
