I wish the new 7.x-2.0 version was compatible with filefield_sources.
With 6.x-1 I there was a patch at "support sources in imagefield_crop widget" to make filefield_sources work.

There's a patch at https://drupal.org/node/495210#comment-5521312 - you'll need to apply by hand but it's working for me.
