@rbrownell you re-tested this patch on 6.x-dev?

The patch was from 2011, I think the patch need to be re-tested as of 2013

Otherwise I will change this patch status back to "needs review"

I didn't test it personally... I simply applied the tag because the issue's status was set to reviewed and tested by the community for almost two years.

I think we need someone to re-test it under current code. A patch that is 2 years old needed to be re-tested before commit.
