results: I work with both a staging server and a production server. When I upload an image with ImageField, the link created is "hard coded", by which I mean that the image source begins with "http://www.nameofmystagingserver.be/sites/default/". I expected that the first part of this URL would be left out, so that I don't have to relink the images when working on the live server ("/sites/default/"). Is there a way of doing that?
Clear your Drupal caches at admin/settings/performance, and all links should be updated to use the new location. Unless you've actually coded these images directly in the node body or somewhere like that, in which case Drupal uses exactly what has been typed. In that case you could use the Pathologic module if you're going to be moving content back and forth regularly.
