Fatal error: Call to undefined function: base_path() in /home/sites/site1/web/drupl/modules/imagedrop/imagedrop.module on line 121

This is the error I get when I activated this module for blog entries. Is it due to the fact that I am not running beta5?

yeah you need the bleeding edge of Drupal :) The recent beta5 release will do too.
