Hello mikeytown2.
The idea of imagecache static is to make another thing different from imageinfo_cache or cookieless_subdomain.
With imagecache static you don't need to hack drupal core, and neither you don't use the server cache.
This modules is to provide a second url, like a CDN, to share the images.
But yes, I think that the title is not the best one, and I "MUST" explain about the module.
thanks
Oskar
Do I need the module if I alredy installed this one: http://drupal.org/project/cdn ?
Thanks
Superfedya.
I don't try CDN. I only can speak about what I know.
My module rebuild only imagechace images src , CDN it's a biggest one and rebuild all the file urls. But with CDN you musth patch it.
