how to link the node title of the image to its node using image text actions
I am trying to generate a view of images in this process I am using imagecache action module to modify the user image to a banner with transparent overlay on it and I wan the node title to show up as a link on the black transparent overlay.For this to happen I used image text action module but I was just able to get the node title but was not able to link it to its corresponding node.
Please help me with this.

That can't be done with just an image. You need to use HTML to create links.
Do that by overriding the theme_imagecache() function in your theme, or the appropriate renderer if you are using filefield.

imagecache actions only operates on the binary image itself. what you do with it on the page is at a different level.
