I've taken a look at the PHP manual for this (http://nz2.php.net/imagettftext), but I'm still not sure what code I should use to make my text be antialiased in the image that's being generated. I'm using GD2 and the basic "Add Text" action. Can anyone help out with an example of how you would do this within a preset? Please?

Title: How to Perform Text Antialiasing? » How to Turn Off Text Antialiasing?

Sorry, I misspoke. I'm wanting to turn off the antialiasing.

In my experience, just using normal ttf text functions on a truecolor image goes on antialiased as expected. Apparently the quality of the edges is slightly better using imagemagick ( I don't see the diff ) but you do get antialias rounding by default.
If you are not, can you attach a sample of what happens when you put large font size text on a plain color jpeg?

Sure, here's what it looks like at the moment. It's the red text that looks like it has some aliasing going on and doesn't look very crisp.

Thanks for taking the time.
