Can we disable/uninstall and remove this module safely?

I have inherited a website that has this module enabled and I know it is now part of drupal 7 core.

So what I am wondering is can I just disable/uninstall and remove this module safely?

I have a development copy I will be testing it on but would be nice if someone knows if there would be any reamifications?
