litwol commented1) enable module
2) create view with text/number/image fields
3) go to image styles, create new style with effect of type "views embed"
4) from list of available views select view you just created in step (2)
5) Follow multiple steps to configure image style views embed settings (select fields, specify font, location, font size, etc etc)
6) specify image on your site to use the new image style you've just created.
7) $$$ done.
TIP: use position "center_center" to make sure your text shows up before you move it to corners (it may get cropped off and you'll think "it isn't working", so display it in center first).
Let me know if you need additional instructions.

litwol commentedSend me admin login details to your site through my contact form.
I will set up a demo image style for you, and in return maybe you can write good documentation for others to follow :)

litwol commentedMake sure your bounding box and box placement coordinates are INSIDE the image you are rendering onto. I wrote this module, and i still find it difficult sometimes to get correct coordinates :).
for example if your image is of size 500x500, choose your bounding box 450x100, position center_center and check box that says "center text within bounding box". that should work for you.

sol0matrix80 commentedthanks for the assistance i figured it out early this morning it is kind of confusing to use tho
Comment #6
sol0matrix80 commentedlol am glad to test it out tho i like the concept thanks for writing it i am still working on a use case for it some objects that need to re render the image constantly is too much on the extra load time and i think this post will definitely help others that use this module
Comment #7
litwol commentedimages are cached after first render, so next requests are as fast as a static file.
unless you clear cache manually, or rebuild the style, cached files will continue to be served very quickly.

fruitsalad commentedHi all,
does anyone have some advice for me? I really would like to use this module. Problem is that is just can't get it to work. Once I select "views embed" and after that the different steps to select the image field, the style of that image and the positioning "center_center". The image from the field just wont show up.
I am very grateful for every help!

fruitsalad commentedWell, I think I just found the solution to my problem. I'm using a "default image" for a site header. In this image another image should be displayed. It seems that "views embed" does not work with an default image. As soon as I uploaded the image again on node creation "views embed" works...
