To pre-date photos I upload, I have to subtract 25 hours from the actual time I took the photos for it to show up right. Otherwise the "submitted on" time reflects that same amount over the time I keyed in, after saving the photo.

BTW, I am in UTC/GMT +8 hours and my web host is UTC/GMT -6 hours. Which, if I am doing the math right, makes no sense to me why the "submitted on" time shows 25 hours more than the time I keyed in when saving the photo on my website.

The 'submitted' time and date of uploaded images relies on the way time and date are stored in nodes. The issue is then in the node system. I believe a patch was created to make Drupal using UTC time internaly and in the database.
