My images were saving fine on my site, but now when I create new content or change old content and try to save, the image dissappears (but both a thumb and the file are saved in the file folder).

This was working fine and I am not sure what happened to change this. The images that are already in the content seem to work okay.

When I go to UPLOAD it adds the new image into the list, but when I actually click SAVE on the node, it is gone when I go back to edit it again.

I am using Image Cache and recently installed (then uninstalled) lightbox 2.

Does anyone have any ideas where I should start looking first?

I thought immediately File Permissions... but it doesnt seem to be that... obviously not if the files are saving?

All help is always greatly appreciated.

Heres a weird thing...

If you click UPLOAD under the image and then save. It does not work.

But if you browse for your image and then click SAVE for the whole node... it works?

Figure that one out...

Still would love a fix, if anyone has a clue.
