I've got a new drupal 6.2 install.

I enable image attach to story content type, but the image won't attach. I'm not a newbie, and I've gone through every possible scenario (that I know of) to get this to work.

Started from scratch so that I could make sure other contributed modules weren't mess'n with things.

Nothing has changed. I can add an image via create content > image and then attach to other nodes via "existing image", but not via "upload image" > "browse" ...

My whole dev process is held up because this, so I upgraded to "critical".

I don't complain much, but ... this image module has had many "issues" since I've started using Drupal.

I'm so thankful for the community and the Drupal engine, and I contribute as I can, so please take with the proverbial grain of salt.

I still haven't got this one yet.

One thing I noticed, is that in file systems, the Temporary directory is /tmp, which I can't find in my directory structure at all. I find a temp in files/images, but that's it; what's interesting, is that I get no error.

Again, the issue is that I can upload an image via create content > image, but I can't attach an image via browse, etc. to an activated/enabled node type even though all the setting say I should; I get no error, I just don't get the image.via browse, etc.

I done all the obvious things.
