Is there any way to add a new image gallery programically? Right now, a user must manually create a new gallery in /admin/content/image/add .
Perhaps with can be done with a URL?

Please forgive my ignorant question, I am new to drupal.

since the image gallery's are based on taxonomy terms you can just call the taxonomy module's functions to add terms programatically.
