I have modified the image_gallery to show 30 images per page; it works, but the pager creates lots of empty pages. I have done some testing but have been unable to find the error.

if you've modified the module it's hard for me to say what you might have done wrong. please post a patch.

I haven't changed the code; I just made the gallery show 30 images per page.

your page counter looks OK from here ... firefox 2.0, on linux.

the problem just exists for some users; a just created user sees everything ok; but users from a role with special privileges (publish, etc....) see 12 pages (from 7 to 12 pages with no photos).

When I have time I will check which "privilege" make this happen

Did you check for empty sub galleries? This will cause empty pages.
