I think, that this module does not have not enough two necessary functions:
1. The user should not think of loaded files. The size and volume of a loaded file should be corrected by the module automatically, instead of give out a mistake after loading a file on a server.
2. The module should change the names, loaded by the user, files. It is actual for names in the national coding and names with blanks. The module should form independently a name of a file, and here the description of a file can be generated from the user name of a file.
Forgive, if not in a theme. But I do not know where with these offers.

i don't understand what you mean exactly by #1. the admin can specify dimensions for the images which will be modified accordingly.

in regards to #2 there's existing issues that i think would address your ideas:
http://drupal.org/node/149093
http://drupal.org/node/103793

also in terms of issue status, "by design" is used as a resolution state.

On #1 it is cancelled. Has corrected version 1.3 all has earned normally.
#2 I result a bright example it in the attached file.

Names of files in the national coding. In particular Russian (a cyrillic font).
If there was an opportunity to rename files automatically then the problem of service of these files other scripts, has disappeared.
The matter is that I cannot remove these files, rename or as or to change them.
