I'm using the image module for the first time. I have uploaded a few images and assigned them to a test image gallery that I created. I can browse to the image node, but when I view the gallery it is empty.
I am also using the views modul. When I preview the "gallery page" display in views I see the thumbnails, but, again, when I browse to the gallery page itself no images appear.

sunSorry, but this request is too custom/specific to be handled by the maintainers of this project.
I'd recommend to post this question in the Drupal forums or on http://drupal.stackexchange.com instead. Also see http://drupal.org/community for other support channels.
Thanks,

nolongerinusebbq commented@timfluhr, I encountered the same issue today. I used right of the box but was unable to get the images to appear. Here is how I fixed it:
1) I started over with the Image module, deleting all associated nodes and uninstalling the Image modules, clearing the cache and then re-installing the modules. I don't know if this was superfluous to do, so you might be able to skip this step. I did a lot of tinkering while initially troubleshooting and decided that starting fresh was the best bet.
2) Make sure the Image node created is published. In my install, the Image content type has "published" checked under "Workflow Settings". However, when creating a new Image node, the "Publish" checkbox under "Publishing Options" is greyed out and unselected. Not quite certain how to resolve this behavior.
3) Again, I don't know if this was originally causing my problem, but make sure that you use Admin > Content Management > Image Galleries > Add Gallery to add galleries instead of adding the gallery through Admin > Content Management > Taxonomy. I honestly don't think this was stopping my images from appearing but since it's there, one might as well use it since there is less of a chance screwing up the subgallery terms.
4) Make sure that your paths for both image_gallery view and the URL alias pattern for "Image Galleries" work together. For example, in my view I set the path to "about/galleries" and my pattern for the "Image Galleries" is set to "about/galleries/[cat-raw]".
Anyways, I'm still trying to figure out how to create a custom content type for uploading an image to a gallery because of the publishing issue as well as being able to edit the Title field while creating the node.
Please let me know if this has helped you or if you are still having difficulties. I'm more than willing to help!
